Senior IT Project Manager – Laboratory Systems in Pharma

The company is a Business and IT boutique consultancy focused on the Life Sciences industry, serving clients in pharma, healthcare and animal health, with over 450 employees across 25 offices worldwide, and its work centres on S/4HANA, data and cloud.

The role is for a Senior IT Project Manager on the Quality Lab team, leading complex IT projects that must meet performance and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and execute IT projects in the quality lab, managing schedules, budgets and resources.
• Work with cross-functional teams to set project scope and put quality assurance processes in place for IT systems.
• Run risk assessments, build mitigation plans and make sure regulatory compliance holds.
• Lead project teams, encourage continuous improvement and help adopt IT project management best practices.
• Write project status reports and manage vendor relationships for quality lab IT projects.
• Manage Document Management Systems (DMS).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required.
• 7+ years of IT project management experience with a focus on quality assurance.
• Working knowledge of project methodologies such as Agile, Scrum and Waterfall, plus quality assurance processes.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, systems and risk management.
• A proven record of delivering projects in complex IT environments.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).
• Knowledge of GxP regulatory compliance.
• Experience with DMS solutions.
