Lead - Solution Engineer(Dutch/Swedish speaking)

Description

The company is hiring a self-driven Lead Solutions Engineer to join the Pre-Sales team. You will be the technical expert who supports sales on new business and takes part in consulting or selling to the company's most important prospects and accounts.

The role suits someone with mid-market software pre-sales experience in a SaaS or technology product company, who has worked with customer engagement or support tools, ITSM/ITIL and cloud infrastructure. You enjoy running product demos, are skilled at uncovering needs, and can advise prospects as a trusted adviser at every stage of the sales cycle, with mid-market and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Partner with regional sales teams to turn prospects into paying customers.
• Build tailored technical demos for client meetings, webinars and customer events, using storylines that fit each audience.
• Explain the company's value through whiteboard and slide sessions, proof-of-concept management and RFP responses.
• Answer functional and technical questions from customers, and analyse complex workflows and how the company's product interacts with the customer's infrastructure in detail.
• Gather customer requirements, judge them, and pass them on to central product management.
• Promote the company's products and services as a brand ambassador to prospects, current customers and partners.
• Work with sales, product management and client services to carry out the sales strategy.
• Train sales teams on the product suite, its technical details and new features.

Requirements

• You must speak and write Dutch or Swedish at native level. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in technical solution engineering, ideally in ITIL/ITSM or in SaaS or software products.
• Experience in a SaaS or technology product company is essential, as are ITSM/ITIL methods and cloud infrastructure.
• Strong communication skills with senior customer stakeholders, including CxOs, and with colleagues inside the company.
• Experience handling complex sales cycles in mid-market and enterprise segments.
• Strong listening and communication skills, excellent presentation and demo skills, and a real wish to help and serve clients. You are customer- and solution-focused.
• Highly motivated, results-driven and quick to act.
• You enjoy working in a fast-moving, high-energy team.
