Description

The role is based in the United States and may be done remotely, though it calls for flexibility and readiness to travel when needed.

You will be the owner of HCP personal promotion and speaker programs for the movement disorders program, covering planning, building, running, and refining them.

You will turn brand strategy, customer research, and clinical evidence into compliant promotional tools and HCP interactions that work in a large commercial market.

The company is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical business developing therapies for central nervous system disorders linked to neuronal imbalance, based on genetic findings.

This is a hands-on position for an experienced HCP marketer who knows how larger markets operate and can align several functions.

Responsibilities

  • Set the HCP personal promotion strategy by turning brand goals, customer insights, segmentation, and positioning into clear priorities for the field.
  • Build and improve field promotional materials, such as core sales tools, clinical data presentations, and objection-handling resources, so that HCP conversations are accurate and stand out.
  • Run the HCP speaker program, including speaker bureau planning, finding and onboarding speakers, training them, executing events, and keeping them ready to present.
  • Work with Sales and Sales Training on launch readiness, field execution, and consistent messaging, using field feedback to adjust priorities.
  • Turn complex clinical and scientific content into messaging that customers can use, working with Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to keep it accurate and compliant.
  • Direct agencies and vendors for personal promotion and speaker work by setting expectations, managing budgets and timelines, and making sure quality holds.
  • Measure promotional results using customer insights, field input, speaker metrics, and performance data, then use the findings to improve future work.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree is required.
  • Preferred: an advanced degree in business, life sciences, marketing, or a related field.
  • Progressive experience in pharmaceutical or biotech HCP marketing, covering personal promotion, field materials, or HCP speaker programs.
  • Preferred: experience before or during a product launch.
  • Required: proven large-market pharmaceutical marketing experience, including supporting broad HCP audiences and running field promotion at scale.
  • Preferred: experience in CNS, neurology, or movement disorders.
  • A solid grasp of pharmaceutical promotion practices, field-based HCP engagement, and the relevant regulatory and compliance rules.
  • A record of influencing cross-functional partners, managing agencies and vendors, and delivering high-quality work while juggling competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A strategic, analytical, hands-on working style, with sound judgment, a sense of ownership, and the ability to work through uncertainty and get results.
  • Regular use of a computer, devices, and other office equipment, plus clear communication, occasional movement, comfort with screen work, basic hand coordination, and sustained focus. Reasonable accommodations are available for people with disabilities.

Conditions

Base salary is $190,000 - $214,000 USD per year.

The role may be performed remotely, with travel as needed.

The company is an equal-opportunity employer.

Benefits

  • The company pays 99% of the premium for medical, dental, and vision plans, plus voluntary plans to tailor coverage.
  • Company-paid life insurance, AD&D coverage, and disability benefits.
  • Dollar-for-dollar 401(k) match on eligible contributions up to 6%.
  • Long-term stock incentives and an employee stock purchase plan.
  • A discretionary quarterly bonus and a flexible wellness benefit.
  • Generous PTO, paid holidays, and company-wide shutdown periods.
