Enterprise AI Feature Engineer

Description

The company is a technology firm serving federal agencies across defense, national security, public safety, civilian, and military health work. Its roughly 13,000 staff share a goal of applying technology to help agencies and the public.

This role helps put Google Gemini for Gov, M365 Copilot, and ChatGPT Gov Enterprise into use across the company. You will support their rollout, integration, and day-to-day operation in a way that stays secure, scalable, and compliant with federal standards.

You will work with cross-functional colleagues and company leadership to build reliable, scalable AI-based applications.

The project covers procurement, NIST 800-171 security approvals (handled by the operations team), Entra ID single sign-on, logging integration, user feedback collection, and operational readiness backed by dedicated support staff.

Much of the work involves helping solve technical problems, applying methods the team already uses, and picking up new approaches as you go.

Responsibilities

• Manage the licensing process for the platforms.
• Configure applications and manage their settings.
• Manage platform features against FedRAMP approved services.
• Help find and fix technical issues and dependencies at every stage of development.
• Work with the team to follow best practices, coding standards, and security protocols.
• Write documentation and share knowledge so the platforms are ready to operate.
• Keep learning about AI technologies and current industry practice.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree.
• US citizenship.
• Proven experience deploying and integrating enterprise AI platforms.
• Experience with at least one of Google Gemini for Gov, M365 Copilot, or ChatGPT Gov.
• Understanding of federal security standards and compliance frameworks, such as NIST 800-171.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, identity management, and secure system design.
• Skill in programming and scripting for automation and integration.
• Knowledge of data management.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• A willingness to keep learning and widen your knowledge.
• Bonus: understanding of version control systems.

Conditions

Base pay in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia is $94,000 to $187,600 USD.

Pay varies by office location, role, skill set, and experience, and the published range is provided as required by local law in those states.
