Responsibilities
Keep artists' music in front of the right listeners and get physical releases to the fans who want them.
Act as the day-to-day link between the company and DSPs such as Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music. Keep pitch calendars, release schedules and editorial follow-ups on time, and track what each placement delivered.
Help coordinate vinyl, CDs and special collector editions, from manufacturing schedules through inventory and retail distribution.
Run the logistics for recurring team and leadership meetings, and support the Music team as a coordination point.
Give priority administrative support to Artist Management, including payment requests, contract workflow and travel.
Help plan and run label events and partner presentations, from run-of-show to day-of logistics.
Prepare and maintain the DSP pitch calendar so every priority release is submitted on time with complete supporting materials.
Gather release assets, artist background and performance data for editorial submissions to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and newer platforms. Draft pitch copy with the Commerce lead.
Log playlist adds, editorial placements and store features across all DSP partners in a shared record that Commerce and Artist Marketing can rely on.
Pull weekly and post-release performance reports from DSP portals, format them and flag trends, wins and misses to the Commerce lead.
Prepare agendas and one-sheets for partner meetings and DSP check-ins, take detailed notes and close follow-up items.
Write a monthly summary of DSP product changes, new pitch tools and editorial priorities for the wider team.
Track physical product timelines for vinyl, CD and special collector formats, including manufacturing milestones, test pressings, approvals and in-stock dates against release dates.
Monitor stock, reorders and sell-through, and raise issues with the Commerce lead and manufacturing and distribution partners.
Own the agenda, decks, notes and follow-up for the weekly Artist Marketing meeting and the full Music Team meeting.
Keep Brand Partnerships and Sync updated on artist marketing through shared calendars, decks and collateral.
Set up vendors, process invoices and keep budget trackers current for DSP campaigns, physical product runs and artist management requests.
Work with Artist Marketing, Creative and Artist Relations so commerce activity lines up with release and campaign plans.
Organize, catalog and share release assets and metadata so partners have what they need when they need it.
