Description

The role is a senior staff product marketing position, also called a Regional Product Marketing (RPM) Specialist, covering go-to-market strategy, execution and growth within one territory, plus lifecycle management and commercial results for the MCU, MPU and connectivity portfolio.

You translate technical specifications such as DMIPS, flash memory, wireless performance, peripheral sets and application requirements into value propositions customers care about.

You act much like a general manager for the region, adapting the global strategy to local market conditions so the EP and C portfolio hits revenue and design-win targets, using a close, customer-focused approach.

You work with sales and other stakeholders to find high-value white space, and with distributors and design houses to build a strong support network.

You serve as the voice of the region, making sure local needs and competitive changes shape future product roadmaps.

Responsibilities

  • Create demand and win designs: find high-potential customers, run regional seminars, tech days, partner scouting, enablement sessions and trade shows.
  • Track the design-in to design-win pipeline so future revenue is secured.
  • Find opportunities and provide support to help close deals.
  • Work with distributors on key accounts and long-tail customers.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and agree on roadmap and design-in/win support with them.
  • Adjust local pricing to compete with local players or to protect customer share, in line with company goals.
  • Lead key customer initiatives with sales, covering customer roadmaps, competitive landscape, SKU mapping, SAM, target sockets and opportunities, SWOT, customer organization, engagement strategy, roadmap alignment, account strategy, action plans and long-term tracking.
  • Go-to-market work: tailor high-impact pitch decks, product positioning and articles; train sales teams, FAEs, AEs and partners on new products, competitive guides and technology trends.
  • Build the ecosystem by training partners and preparing evaluation boards, IDE support and software libraries so the MCU, MPU and connectivity products have the support they need.
  • Grow local third-party engagement and identify partners in the region.
  • Analyse trends from the customer view in areas such as IoT, industrial automation and consumer electronics.
  • Track competitors to keep pricing and performance ahead, and monitor their local activity.
  • Collect specific regional requirements and make the case to the global team to add them to the roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or a related technical field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 10+ years in semiconductor, embedded systems or a related industry.
  • 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
  • Experience in P&L management, strategic or technical marketing, business development, applications, supply chain or cost management, or similar roles.
  • Understanding of microcontroller, microprocessor and connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive, and data center or communications infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of microcontroller architectures such as ARM Cortex and RISC-V, connectivity technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC, embedded software ecosystems, and semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong business sense with a sense of ownership over P&L.
  • Strategic thinker who makes data-driven decisions.
  • Customer-focused, self-driven and energetic.
  • Strong written and spoken communication. You can present complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Able to work well with teams in several locations and time zones.
  • Able to collaborate and perform in a fast-moving environment.
  • Track record of launching products, winning design-wins and driving revenue growth.
