Description

The company is hiring a VP-level Program Manager and Senior Business Analyst to lead complex, strategic transformation initiatives from planning and requirements through implementation and transition.

You will combine program and project management with senior business analysis and own assigned initiatives and workstreams end to end.

You will work with Business, Operations, Product and Technology teams to set clear objectives, turn business needs into workable plans, manage dependencies and risks, and hit agreed milestones and outcomes.

The role spans both strategy and execution. You will bring structure to complex problems, help groups of stakeholders reach decisions, and communicate clearly with senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Program and workstream management:
  • Lead planning and delivery of assigned programs, projects and strategic workstreams.
  • Build and maintain integrated plans covering milestones, deliverables, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Coordinate work across Business, Operations, Product, Technology and other functions.
  • Set up and run program governance, status reporting and management routines.
  • Spot risks, issues, actions, decisions and dependencies early, and drive them to timely escalation and resolution.
  • Track delivery against scope, schedule and objectives, and recommend corrective action when needed.
  • Produce short program updates, decision materials and executive reports.
  • Watch related initiatives for cross-program impacts and dependencies.
  • Manage interdependencies, track progress and performance, manage risks to defined benefits, and report at program level to stakeholders, in line with the company's internal Program Manager definition.
  • Senior business analysis:
  • Work with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, processes and requirements.
  • Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization and documentation.
  • Turn business needs into clear business, functional and operational requirements.
  • Analyze current-state processes and operating models, and help define future-state solutions.
  • Find process gaps, inefficiencies, dependencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Produce process flows, requirements documents, decision materials and other analysis to support design and implementation.
  • Facilitate working sessions between business and technical teams to resolve requirements, design questions and delivery issues.
  • Help validate that delivered solutions meet agreed requirements and intended outcomes.
  • Define or support KPIs and success measures for assigned initiatives.
  • Stakeholder and governance management:
  • Build strong working relationships with senior Business, Operations, Product and Technology stakeholders.
  • Run governance forums, working sessions and decision discussions.
  • Keep stakeholders clearly informed on progress, risks, decisions and required actions.
  • Hold teams accountable for deliverables and commitments.
  • Explain complex business or technology topics in clear, management-level terms.
  • Escalate material risks, open decisions and delivery constraints to the right leadership forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Significant experience in program management, project management, business analysis, transformation, consulting or a related field within a complex organization.
  • Proven record of leading cross-functional programs or workstreams involving Business, Operations and Technology.
  • Solid grasp of program and project disciplines, including planning, governance, risk management, dependency management and executive reporting.
  • Strong business analysis skills, including requirements definition, process analysis, solution documentation and facilitation.
  • Ability to break down complex or ambiguous problems into actionable plans.
  • Strong written, verbal and executive-level communication.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across teams you do not manage.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
  • Preferred: experience supporting large-scale transformation, platform implementation or operating-model change.
  • Preferred: financial services experience.
