Description

The alternatives product organization is looking for an experienced leader to run alternatives projects, mainly in real assets. The role needs solid alternative asset class knowledge and program or project management skills to handle complex business transformation and technology work.

You will work directly with stakeholders across the business, technology and product areas, including senior management. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills are required, along with a high level of organization and a good grasp of the company's alternatives business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or carry out delivery of defined alternatives development programs, with a focus on real assets, working alongside client-facing, product, global delivery and technology teams.
  • Use current AI tools to produce project documents such as business cases, requirements and development plans.
  • Run program governance, making sure policies and best practices are followed and tracking issues, risks, audit and compliance items for program reporting.
  • Act as product owner or business analyst on agile programs: set priorities, write epics and stories, track status, run execution meetings, escalate and resolve issues, and oversee testing and go-live.
  • Work with teams across business units to share approaches, build best practices and strengthen the team's ability to deliver new capabilities and serve clients better.
  • Run project status meetings and deliver complete, accurate updates to senior management and key stakeholders on issues, risks, progress and wins.
  • Stay across the firm's strategy, business processes and architecture, and use that knowledge in solution design and build.

Requirements

  • Highly skilled in AI.
  • Very organized with strong analytical skills. You can work independently and switch between several projects or implementations as client needs change.
  • Able to set priorities, balance key tasks and manage your time well.
  • Strong communicator who can write clear business requirements for documents such as use cases and business requirement documents.
  • Comfortable leading working groups and large discussions to build shared understanding and drive decisions.
  • Strong presentation skills for internal audiences and for clients.
  • Able to back decisions with facts and data.
  • Able to turn complex information into clear, concise, actionable insights for senior management.
  • Shows the Risk Excellence culture in your conduct and holds to a high standard of the Code of Conduct.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi.
  • Experience implementing AI-driven process solutions.
  • 5 to 8 years in the alternatives industry.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Jira, Clarity and other development tools.
