Description

The company is hiring an SAP Materials MM/PP functional business analyst to work on project implementations and production support across Materials Management and Production Planning, with occasional Quality Management work.

You will also help deliver new processes and functions within ongoing business process improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own the functional and process quality of SAP work across implementation and improvement project lifecycles.
  • Coordinate with SAP consultants, business analysts, and regional and global business partners.
  • Work closely with the production support team.
  • Lead the rollout of Production Planning functionality, including MRP, planning board, DS board, subcontracting, production and planned orders, material master, BOMs, routings, work centers, and production versions.
  • Investigate complex SAP MM/PP production issues across configuration, master data, RICEFW custom developments, integrations, and business processes, then find root causes and propose balanced fixes.
  • Handle support requests on master data setup, material planning, procure-to-pay, sourcing, inventory management, and MM, PP and QM integration.
  • Configure the organizational structure, including valuation areas, plants, purchasing organizations, and storage locations.
  • Design, build, test, and validate configuration for new processes, whether they arise from production support or new projects.
  • Set guidelines for designing and supporting APO-DP, SNP, and MM/PP applications across procurement and production planning.
  • Work with the SAP security team to resolve authorization issues and recommend security setups that fit project needs.
  • Write functional specifications for production-support RICEFW developments, then test and validate them for business use.
  • Work independently with business process owners to build new solutions and lead workshops from scoping through realization.

Requirements

  • Experience on 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations, including at least one full MM and/or PP implementation.
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP SCM experience in MM/PP, covering both production support and project implementation.
  • Familiarity with SAP ASAP or other project methodologies, and the ability to apply them.
  • Expertise in MM master data, configuration, and RICEFW development.
  • Expertise in end-to-end logistics processes within Material Management, with a strong focus on Production Planning.
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management reports, transactions, movement types, functionality, and configuration.
  • Proficiency in writing user training documentation, test plans, and test scripts, and in executing them.
  • Good knowledge of SAP authorization roles, objects, and basic reports, used to resolve missing authorizations and support the security team's design work in functional areas.
  • Strong experience enabling global enterprises.

Conditions

Base pay range is estimated at $130,875 - $150,000 at the time of posting.
