  • Document your work and explain findings to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team while owning your own assignments.
  • Gain exposure to cloud platforms, modern data architectures and large-scale industrial automation systems.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at Kettering University, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Applied Mathematics or a related technical field.
  • Basic experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis, automation or application development, or a strong interest in learning it.
  • Interest in using data to spot trends, investigate problems and develop solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to tackle unfamiliar technical challenges.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including explaining technical ideas simply.
  • Experience on team-based programming, engineering or analytics projects through coursework, extracurricular activities or earlier co-ops.
  • Desire to learn, experiment, ask questions and build things that solve real problems.
  • Optional: familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or Looker.
  • Optional: exposure to cloud technology, data engineering, APIs or modern software development.
  • Optional: interest in automation, robotics, material handling equipment, manufacturing, logistics or supply chain technology.

Conditions

Students at any stage of their co-op are encouraged to apply.

Base pay is estimated at $19.00-$23.00 at the time of posting. Final pay depends on factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge and skills.
