Description

The company is hiring a senior business analyst for its engineering and manufacturing engineering work, based in its GBS team in Lisbon or Coimbra.

The role takes a broad, proactive approach to problems: handling a range of business analysis tasks, pulling the core issues out of varied data sets, and proposing new, effective solutions for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering and Finance stakeholders to refine KPI frameworks, giving clear visibility into delivery plans, budgets and operational risks.
  • Oversee key parts of the engineering service procurement process. Work with core-country SCMs on high-impact supplier performance review (PRM) strategies that reduce late deliveries and clear goods receipt blockers.
  • Analyse workload and capacity data across NatCos and programmes, giving a clear picture of internal, external and extended-make resource allocation so stakeholders can decide.
  • Look past standard reporting to find operational risks and opportunities (R&O), turning mixed data into concrete, practical recommendations for internal customers.
  • Build trusted, professional relationships with remote international teams and handle varied stakeholder requirements with confidence.
  • Lead local initiatives as a core pillar of the Local Team (the company Portugal), helping shape its mission and purpose. Centralise business management activities, design and enforce standard processes for all internal customers, and coach the team in lean management and Six Sigma to improve GBS ways of working.

Requirements

  • A degree in business management, finance or engineering, or a proven track record in business analysis, data management or operational tracking.
  • Extensive, proven experience in business performance, engineering support or financial analysis, with the ability to handle varied tasks and interpret detailed operational data.
  • A structured way of working, the ability to see problems from a broad angle, spot less obvious solutions and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
  • Full command of Google Workspace tools, including ecosystem automation and coding, and advanced Microsoft Excel data architectures.
  • Fluent English is required. French, German or Spanish is a plus.

Conditions

Permanent contract.

Hybrid working, combining onsite and offsite work.

Office at Parque das Nacoes, with good public transport links.

Experience level: professional. Job family: Improvement & Performance Management.

You must be aware of potential compliance risks and act with integrity, which the company treats as the basis for its success, reputation and sustainable growth.

The company is committed to diversity and equal opportunities and welcomes applications regardless of background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

Benefits

  • Varied career paths within the company's European core countries or in other regions worldwide.
  • A motivated, friendly team to build and shape the GBS together.
  • An intense, engaging onboarding programme.
