Description

The company's Spanish entity is hiring a MuleSoft and API developer for the PSL IM Integration Platforms group in Albacete, Spain.

The integration platform team builds and monitors secure API and middleware links that sync data, automate workflows and connect legacy and cloud systems.

The team's architect defines the integration patterns, which are chosen per use case and revised regularly. Synchronous REST APIs are one way to implement them.

The company is a global helicopter producer and a strategic centre of excellence. The digital campus focuses on industrial digitalisation and innovation, and the team is young, collaborative and close-knit.

  • Help design, build and test APIs and integration workflows on the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform using Mule 4.
  • Turn API specifications written in RAML or OAS into reusable assets.
  • Write DataWeave 2.0 transformations that map data between different systems.
  • Create MUnit unit tests and help find, debug and fix integration faults.
  • Keep technical documentation for APIs, flows and deployments clear and current.
  • Check that work meets the company's guidelines and oversee its release to the shared MuleSoft API gateway.

Requirements

  • Suited to entry-level candidates.
  • A master's degree or equivalent in IT or a related field.
  • A basic understanding of object-oriented programming.
  • Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, plus JSON and XML.
  • Basic SQL and experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions, and with Git. An understanding of agile methods.
  • A strong drive to learn new technologies and integration patterns.
  • An analytical approach to troubleshooting code and logic flow.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Awareness of compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity.

Conditions

Permanent contract based in Albacete, Spain.

Hybrid working model, with flexible arrangements offered wherever possible to encourage new ideas.

Applications are welcome regardless of background, age, gender, disability, sexual orientation or religious belief.

The company never asks candidates for money during recruitment.

Benefits

  • About 35 days off per year in total, combining vacation with extra days off.

  • Collective transport, depending on the work calendar and home location.
  • Life insurance, health insurance, employee stock options, a retirement plan and study grants.
  • Free on-site canteen, kindergarten and medical office.
  • Opportunities to take part in social and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
  • Upskilling and career growth in a multicultural environment.
  • Special rates on products and benefits.

  • Room to grow alongside major projects at a strategic centre of excellence.
