HR Business Analyst & Automation

Description

The company is part of the company Global Business Services (AGBS), founded in 2021, which standardises, harmonises, digitises and automates end-to-end overhead processes such as Procure to Pay.

The unit aims to end siloed ways of working and processes, and needs people who take a pioneering approach, make data-driven decisions and take responsibility for the outcome for their internal customers.

The role sits in the HR function and is based in Portugal as a permanent position at professional level in the Digital job family.

Responsibilities

• Use generative AI tools such as Gemini to turn plain-language prompts into working workflows, automation logic and lightweight tools.
• Build user-friendly apps, forms and automated routines on low-code or no-code platforms such as Google AppSheet.
• Work with HR stakeholders to find bottlenecks, redesign workflows and remove repetitive tasks.
• Test and refine automated solutions so they are reliable, easy to use and aligned with business needs.
• Keep documentation up to date, write end-user guides and train HR teams to adopt new digital tools.
• Make sure every solution meets internal security policies and data protection rules, including GDPR and privacy standards.
• Streamline HR processes and simplify operations, working closely with process and product owners.
• Build solutions without traditional coding skills, relying on AI-assisted tools and natural language prompts ("vibe coding").

Requirements

• Show you can use AI tools such as Gemini to solve problems and produce working automation logic from clear natural language instructions.
• Have hands-on experience with Google AppSheet or AppScript.
• Think analytically and logically, keep looking for improvements, and turn business needs into simple digital flows.
• Work independently and stay organised within cross-functional, globally distributed teams using agile methods.
• Communicate clearly and fluently in English, both written and spoken, in a trust-based, non-hierarchical setting.
• Have solid experience with Google Workspace tools such as Sheets, Docs and Drive.
• Optional: prior knowledge of HR processes or platforms such as Workday, SAP or Cornerstone. This is a plus but not required.

Hybrid working model that combines onsite and offsite work.
