SAP Project Manager

Description

The company's Digital team is hiring an SAP ERP Service and SAP Project Manager to join its team in Newport, South Wales.

You will join the international ERP Competence & Delivery Centre team and manage ERP systems, both on-premise and cloud-based. As the UK focal point, you will connect business processes with technical capabilities to move the technology roadmap forward.

The company builds aircraft and works in defence and space, with a focus on zero-carbon flight and cleaning up space.

Responsibilities

• Act as Service Manager and UK focal point for the SAP ECC on-premise system, coordinating stakeholders to keep service quality and end-user satisfaction high.
• Lead international projects and internal initiatives across the ERP landscapes, including SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC and connected cloud instances.
• Find business process improvements, maintain system functions and guide the landscape's development in line with the ambitious ERP Roadmap.
• Give specialist technical advice on scoping, development, deployment and Change Management, and address system obsolescence before it becomes a problem.
• Coordinate project teams, run effective workshops and manage subcontractor resources so project deliverables are met efficiently.
• Make sure all work follows UK and international regulations, IT Security guidelines and internal Project Management standards.

Requirements

• You have mastered SAP ERP solutions, including SAP S/4 HANA, and have led project management within complex SAP ERP landscapes.
• You are educated to degree level in Information Systems Technology, Business Administration or a similar field.
• Project Management and Change Management certifications are advantageous.
• You have worked and communicated effectively in diverse, international and multidisciplinary teams, delivering practical, solution-focused results.
• You are fluent in English. Additional European languages are beneficial.
• You adapt well to a changing environment and are willing to travel for business occasionally.
• You understand potential compliance risks and act with integrity.

Conditions

You must hold, or be able to obtain, UK Eyes Only SC security clearance, which requires you to be a sole British national.

The role is full time and permanent, at the Newport, South Wales location, with some hybrid working available subject to the hybrid working policy.

The standard week is 37 hours.
