Description

You will develop and maintain the infrastructure management software and services for high-performance computing systems that run on Linux.

The team builds software for critical government programs. The company is a global technology and professional services firm serving US government, defense and intelligence agencies, with 26,000 staff in more than 50 countries.

The work covers AI, cloud, cyber and software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infrastructure management software and services for high-performance computing systems.
• Work on systems that run on Linux.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in arts or science.
• Bring 5+ years of related experience.
• You must currently hold a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• US citizenship is required.
• Use the Linux command line and its tools.
• Script in Bash or Python to automate tasks and processes.
• Have recent software development experience in Python.
• Know CI/CD principles and tools, including GitLab CI.
• Be familiar with Agile, Scrum or SAFe.
• Have worked with Git source control.
• Desired: automation frameworks such as Ansible for orchestrating deployments.
• Desired: containerization with Docker, Podman or containerd.
• Desired: secret management with HashiCorp Vault.
• Desired: identity and access management tools such as Keycloak.
• Desired: datacenter infrastructure management tools such as Netbox.
• Desired: observability and analytics platforms such as Splunk.
• Desired: experience with the Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence.

Conditions

Location: Annapolis Junction, MD, USA.

Work is onsite.

Schedule: 40 hours per week.

Travel: none.

No public trust or other clearance is required.

Likely salary range: $152,150 to $205,850. Pay is set by experience, location and possibly contract terms, so it is not guaranteed and may fall outside this range.
