Description

The role is based in Toronto and follows a hybrid schedule of two days a week in the office.

This is an existing vacancy on the Enterprise Systems Team within Technology Operations.

The team builds projects that make business operations more efficient and automates processes for teams around the world. You will work with finance, business, analytics, product, and engineering on several financial applications.

The company is a restaurant technology business with 25+ years in the market, serving 70,000+ restaurant partners and millions of diners. It is part of a publicly traded parent company.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and build enhancements to several finance applications, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Monitor how the finance applications perform, keep system documentation current, and provide administrative and user support for bug fixes and future enhancements.
  • Partner with finance and engineering to clarify functional requirements and system implementation, then run end-to-end integration tests.
  • Check that results match partner requirements and lead user acceptance testing.
  • Become the go-to expert on these systems, look for ways to improve processes, dig into partner requests, and identify what they need to solve problems.
  • Resolve incidents quickly and efficiently.
  • Use and learn tools including NetSuite, Salesforce, SoftCo, Expensify, Celigo, and Nolan, plus custom-built applications and integrations.
  • Uphold strict compliance and control standards, particularly for sensitive financial data, and support IT SOX audits.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. An engineering or technical background is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience with finance systems.
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems such as ERP, AP automation, AR, travel and expense tools, and integration platforms covering order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report.
  • Experience supporting a monthly financial close, with expertise in order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report processes.
  • Critical thinking and strong analytical skills, with close attention to detail, a commitment to data accuracy, and adherence to data governance and control requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Eagerness to keep learning, grow in the role, and adapt to new systems as they are introduced.
  • Prior NetSuite experience is strongly preferred.

Conditions

Hybrid, with two days per week in the Toronto office.

Flexible working hours are required to support the monthly financial close and coordinate with global tasks and teams.

You may need to handle calls, Slack messages, or emails outside regular hours to work with international colleagues, respond to restaurant partners, or address urgent matters. Local laws and regulations are always respected.

The expected pay range for this Toronto role is $102,000-$133,000 CAD, including any commission or bonuses. Pay depends on factors such as market benchmarks, location, and required years of experience.

This role is eligible to be considered for an annual bonus.

The company welcomes people from all backgrounds, and accommodation requests during hiring or on the job should go to your recruiter.

Benefits

  • Work from almost anywhere for up to 20 days per year.
  • Company-paid therapy sessions through SpringHealth and a company-paid Headspace subscription.
  • An annual company-wide week off.
  • Paid parental leave.
  • Generous paid vacation, plus time off for your birthday.
  • Paid volunteer time.
