Description

The company is a large custodian bank, asset manager and asset intelligence firm serving institutional clients worldwide.

The Business Analyst, AVP supports the Canada CEO and the head of Canada Relationship Management (RM) by building and maintaining executive reporting and presentations, running and maintaining Salesforce, governing strategic initiatives and the sales pipeline, supporting the relationship management team, carrying out ad hoc analyses, and making sure Finance forecasts are accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Gather input from senior management, sales and RM teams to build executive reports, then maintain, update, distribute and improve them.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for Canada senior management on a regular and ad hoc basis, including board strategy reporting for the SSTCC Canadian legal entity.
  • Manage all Canada entries in Salesforce and make sure owners submit inputs properly and on time. Serve as the primary business unit approver for all Canada entries.
  • Define, document and govern key strategic initiatives with Canada senior management. Keep a detailed inventory of initiatives by collecting updates from owners.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline and Client Health Portal through regular governance meetings with Canada RMs and sales teams.

  • Act as the subject matter expert and product champion for Salesforce in Canada, and coach or train Canada users as needed.
  • Build and update Salesforce best practices, and look for ways to automate Salesforce reporting to save time.
  • Join working groups with stakeholders, owners and Salesforce and Client Health Portal developers to share user feedback and recommend improvements.
  • Review reports and decks regularly, improving their format and flow and adding creative visual impact.
  • Spot unusual or potentially suspicious activity and report or escalate it under corporate policy and the relevant procedures.
  • Keep Salesforce and key initiative updates current. Lack of responsiveness or ongoing neglect of these updates is not acceptable.
