You will make films about the company's humanoid robots and the engineering behind them. The goal is footage that is technically accurate, visually strong and easy to follow, for industrial buyers and a wider international audience.
You run productions from planning to delivery across the robot labs and representative work sites, working hands-on with the engineering team and in close contact with marketing, design, product and commercial. The company is a startup that follows proven approaches rather than racing to be first. It is substantially funded internally and backed by top-tier investors. The founders have built companies at unicorn scale and helped set global robotics standards.
Responsibilities
Lead each production from treatment and shot planning through camera, lighting and audio, then editing, motion graphics, colour, sound and final delivery.
Write stories, concepts, scripts, storyboards and visual treatments with marketing, design and product, shaping composition, lens, light, palette, style and framing within the brand strategy and visual system.
Shoot in the robot labs and test areas beside engineers, recording progress as it happens at a consistently high standard.
Work with product, commercial and engineering to turn customer use cases and robot abilities into clear, believable demonstrations.
Help design customer and demo sets with product, design, engineering and production partners, covering layout, fixtures, backdrops, lighting and staging.
Make sure everything shown matches what the robot can actually do and the technical work behind it, building trust with industrial customers and a global audience.
Agree content priorities and quality standards with the management team, marketing, design, product and engineering.
Brief and manage agencies, freelancers, set builders and specialist crew when needed.
Make product videos, customer demos, founder interviews, press material, test footage, social content, event and trade-show material, sales assets, investor updates and employer-brand content.
Adapt content for each audience and channel, from customer films to LinkedIn, press, YouTube and other public platforms.
Build and maintain a secure, organised, searchable footage library spanning Munich and Limassol.
Requirements
5+ years of professional video production, filmmaking or editing.
A strong portfolio or showreel showing high craft, ideally in technology, product, automotive, consumer electronics, industrial or similarly demanding work.
A record of owning productions from pre-production and filming through post-production and delivery.
Strong camera, lighting and audio skills, for fast lab shoots and controlled product or studio setups.
Advanced editing in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with strong motion graphics, colour and sound work.
Good instincts for story, pacing and structure, so you can turn technical progress into films people understand and remember.
A sharp eye for composition, movement, light and detail, and the judgement to contribute to concepts, storyboards and treatments.
Comfortable working hands-on with engineers, robots and unfinished hardware, while working across marketing, design, product and commercial.
Ability to switch quickly between several productions, from brief and script through storyboards, shot lists, shoot logistics and delivery, without lowering the bar.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Startup pace, equal care for craft and technical accuracy, and the ability to earn trust with highly technical teams. You see the story in a test run, bring order to a messy production, and show the robot at its best without overstating what it can do.
Nice to have: experience filming robotics, automotive, consumer electronics, hardware or industrial technology.
Nice to have: still photography, 3D animation or product visualisation in Blender, Cinema 4D or similar.
Nice to have: experience with drones and gimbals, sets, physical environments or product-demo productions.
Nice to have: fluency with modern AI tools for image, video, audio and post-production.
Nice to have: German language skills (for Munich).
