Description

About the company

At the company, we're building the operating system for mobile services—a platform that lets tech companies embed global connectivity into their products effortlessly.

Just as Stripe lets any business add a payment button in seconds, the company empowers platforms to weave in connectivity—bridging the traditional world of telecom with modern tech. From fintechs launching mobile services to HR platforms offering work phone plans, we automate provisioning and remove telecom complexity.

As one of the fastest-growing tech companies, bringing together early-stage engineers, product builders, and business athletes from companies like Stripe, Airbnb, and Shopify. We’re tackling deep technical and regulatory challenges to make connectivity truly seamless.

If you’re driven by curiosity, creativity, and the chance to shape the future of telecom, we’d love to hear from you.

Things We Care About

We are building in a highly complex space and tackling a massive problem. We want people who lean in when things get hard.

Speed. We move and we ship. We set bold deadlines and treat every week like it matters.

Ownership. If you see something broken, fix it. We don't wait for permission.

Customer Obsession . Our customers' product is our product.

Ambiguity. We're building frontier technology in a complex domain. You'll need sound judgement and good instincts to make decisions without complete information.

First principles. We don't ask how things have been done before. We ask why they were done that way at all.

Responsibilities

  • The company has built a platform that has outgrown the words we use for it. Inside the company, the same product goes by several names depending on who you ask. Outside, our story trails what the product can do.
  • As a Technical Product Marketing Manager, you'll sit with our product and engineering teams, learn the platform as it runs today and where it's heading, and turn it into something people can understand and buy.
  • Product marketing sits upstream of brand. You decide what we say and what we call things. Then you brief our brand marketers on what to write and where it should run. You'll report to our Head of Marketing and work day to day with our founders, who like to be shown new work early.
  • Nobody has held this job at the company before. We want someone who gets into the product the way an engineer does and explains it the way a good technical writer does.
  • Learn the product cold. You spend time with the product and engineering teams, read the roadmap, and understand how the platform works today. Soon you can explain any part of it without notes.
  • Build the taxonomy. You break the platform into categories and give each part a name that holds up. One product should have one name, and every team should use it.
  • Package the platform so it can be sold. Pricing and margin grow when we segment and sell distinct products. You work out the segments with product and commercial teams and define what sits in each.
  • Write the story for each audience.
  • Brief brand marketing. Once you've settled what to say, you hand brand a clear brief for the engineering blog, external stories and other content. You name a new capability, and brand tells the world about it.
  • Shape the AI narrative. Our AI work needs a clear, longer-term story that sits beside embedded connectivity. You build it with the founders and the product teams.
  • Equip partners and sales. You turn the roadmap into messaging that sales and partner marketers use with product and marketing heads at partners. Where it helps, you show partners how to bundle and differentiate a phone plan.
  • Keep the language straight. Verticals, departments and products all need consistent names. You keep the glossary and catch drift in decks, posts and pitches.
  • Show your work early. Founders respond best to short updates and live walkthroughs. You bring them new thinking while it can still change.
  • Use AI daily. It speeds up your research and drafting. You'll also help shape how the company gets described by LLMs and other AI-driven channels.
  • What we are looking for
  • A technical product marketer . Your background sits close to engineering, or you've gone deep on products the way a technical writer does. You read architecture docs and API references and follow them. A conventional SaaS product marketing résumé is a different thing, and it won't carry this role.
  • Structured thinking. Give you a platform and you can split it into clean categories, then name each one on a system. Our founders look for this in the interview.
  • Senior experience . You've owned positioning for a product line or a launch, and you can set your own agenda.
  • A strong writer. Your prose is clear, precise and short. Engineers trust it, and a partner's head of product can read it on a phone.
  • Self-direction . You find the people you need, ask the sharp questions, and move without a detailed brief. Nobody will spoon-feed you here.
  • Range across audiences. Each gets the version they need.
  • Commercial instinct. You understand how segmenting and packaging a product moves price and margin. You also see how bundling can lift a phone plan above a commodity.
  • Ease with founders. You can show unfinished thinking, take direct feedback, and stand your ground with a reason.
  • Daily AI use. It makes you faster, and you know where your own judgment has to take over.
  • A platform or infrastructure background. Payments, fintech, developer platforms and infrastructure software all translate well. Alumni of acquired companies are of particular interest to us.
  • Bonus points for building a product taxonomy or naming system from scratch, and for familiarity with carriers, eSIM or B2B2C models.
  • This is a hybrid role in our San Francisco or New York offices
  • Salary range: $200,000 - $270,000 annually + equity + benefits
  • (The final offer depends on your background, skills, and how you perform through the process. We're open to considering outlier candidates, which may result in an adjustment to the scope and compensation)
  • Work At the company
  • At the company, we value in-person collaboration. We believe the best ideas, decisions, and relationships are built when teams spend meaningful time together, and our culture is designed around that belief. We support flexibility where it makes sense. Some focused work can be done remotely, and not every role or week looks the same. You should expect regular time in one of our hubs , as well as occasional travel for team workshops, customer meetings, and the company Republic, our bi-annual company off-site . Our offices are designed to feel like home-inspired workspaces, with plants, thoughtful tools, and small, tight-knit teams that make collaboration feel natural, energizing, and effective.

Benefits

  • At the company, we believe in rewarding excellence. We offer competitive compensation and stock options because we see you as a true partner in our growth. We also provide stipends for your home office or work setup, a budget for learning and development to fuel your career, and of course, a free phone and international data plan
