Description

The company's Applied AI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team works with its largest strategic customers to shape how enterprises use AI. The team finds high-value opportunities, speeds up business results, and builds reusable AI-native solutions for the company's AI platform.

The team builds intelligent, scalable AI solutions for customers' hardest problems. Engineers work inside each customer's real environment, ship quickly, improve through iteration, and turn each success into patterns other teams can reuse across the company's platform and wider enterprise market.

Enterprise leaders now expect measurable results from AI, not just experiments. The organizations that lead adoption will be the ones that move quickly, deliver clear value, and repeat early wins at scale.

This is a Technical Program Manager role supporting the cross-functional FDE teams. You will help them design, build, and deliver AI solutions for strategic customers. The pace is fast, and the work covers everything from first idea through build, delivery, and completion, with a focus on getting customers to value sooner. You will bring a proactive, strategic view, manage customer relationships, and drive day-to-day execution.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with software engineers, product managers, product designers, and customers to deliver intelligent systems that solve critical problems with AI.
  • Co-create AI solutions with customers that fit their specific needs, serving as their first point of contact or the person they escalate to.
  • Build trusted relationships with key technology leaders and stakeholders, both inside and outside the company, to keep the build focused on its strategic goals and deliver it efficiently. This includes supporting resource owners and holding them accountable for their part of the build.
  • Lead large, cross-functional, highly visible AI software builds that must hit tight deadlines.
  • Break complex, unclear problems into prioritized milestones, deliverables, and success criteria. Turn business goals into both tactical and long-term execution plans.
  • Find and clear obstacles that slow a build or block its goals, particularly in AI and ML deployment.
  • Manage risks and dependencies, escalate blockers, and handle releases, including the requirements that apply to AI releases.
  • Improve processes and write documentation that spreads best practices. Automate repetitive operational work.
  • Coordinate daily activities needed to deliver a strong solution on schedule. Keep everyone informed through reports, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Keep growing by actively asking for and accepting constructive feedback, and by giving feedback to colleagues to support an open, collaborative culture.

Requirements

  • You are a flexible, inventive problem solver who does well in complex, fast-moving settings. You think analytically without losing sight of the bigger picture. You have experience running SDLC processes with a customer-first approach. You care about AI and about scaling new ideas. You can turn unclear situations into clear plans, and you have run projects and programs end to end yourself.
  • At least 8 years of project or program management experience at mid-sized or large software companies.
  • A solid grasp of SDLC and release management in cloud-based SaaS product organizations.
  • A record of delivering AI or intelligent workflow solutions at scale, including deployments that produced clear customer impact.
  • Working familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and enterprise security practices.
  • Preferred: Proven skill in AI and ML software program management, including planning and scheduling, risk assessment and mitigation, dependency and change management, and predictive metrics.
  • Preferred: Excellent collaboration and communication skills. You can clearly share changes, requests, and deadlines with teams, and report risks, status, progress, and decisions to varied audiences, including executives.
  • Preferred: Genuine interest in working with people in technical, innovative settings. You work well with many personality types across functions.
  • Preferred: Strong leadership and relationship skills that let you influence and motivate people without formal authority. You are very good at bringing people together.
  • Preferred: Strong facilitation skills for leading a range of build events. You care about quality, push for continuous improvement across the organization, and keep the big picture in view.
  • Preferred: Experience putting AI solutions into production, and a knack for spotting waste and delay across AI development, deployment, and release work.
  • Preferred: Strong team building and team management skills, including interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Preferred: Experience using AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem solving, or thinking critically about how to do so.
