The company is a team of researchers, engineers, designers and others. It is a global technology company headquartered in Toronto, with offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul.

The company is scaling from 800 to 2000+ people over 18 months. It is in the early stages of building its Talent Acquisition function and is expanding its go-to-market teams worldwide.

You will join the Talent Team, help shape the new function, and work on a high-growth Canadian tech company's hiring.

Responsibilities

• Build, own and nurture a strong pipeline of top business talent for Engineering and Research roles.
• Create a high-quality recruiting experience that matches the company's premium brand.
• Work with hiring managers and talent partners to find and engage passive candidates using creative sourcing methods.
• Track market intelligence on technical talent trends and the competitive landscape.
• Run full recruiting funnels in the ATS, keeping progress and analytics up to date.
• Design proactive, creative sourcing approaches to strengthen the top of the funnel for business roles.
• Build relationships with established networks in business communities and among industry leaders.
• Take ownership of new high-impact talent projects as they arise.

Requirements

• You have 5+ years of sourcing technical candidates for engineering and research roles in markets such as EMEA and the US.
• You have a track record of sourcing in high-growth, high-standard environments.
• You have an established, high-profile network in business communities.
• You solve problems creatively and work well in fast-moving, ambiguous settings.
• You influence others naturally and build relationships with strong skill.
• You use data and analytics to guide sourcing decisions and measure results.
• You care about diversity, equity and building inclusive business teams.
• You think strategically and look beyond immediate hiring needs.
• Preferred: startup, technology or AI experience.

Conditions

The role is remote-first, with offices in Toronto, San Francisco and London.

Remote-friendly work is supported, and offices are also open in New York City, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul, with more opening soon.
