Forward Deployed Engineer, Infrastructure Specialist (North America)

The team includes researchers, engineers and designers who care deeply about their craft.

This role links the company's North AI workspace platform with client engineering teams. North lets enterprises use AI while keeping control of sensitive data, and it connects AI agents with workplace tools inside existing workflows.

You will bring AI into sectors such as finance, healthcare and telecommunications. Current clients include RBC, Dell and LG CNS.

The company is looking for engineers who care about customers and want to work on Agentic AI.

Responsibilities

• Own the full deployment of North into private cloud and on-premises environments, from planning and configuration through testing and rollout.
• Work with enterprise IT teams to assess infrastructure, security requirements and data management practices.
• Design deployment strategies for each client that meet data privacy and security standards.
• Diagnose and fix deployment issues quickly to keep downtime low.
• Test ideas at pace without sacrificing quality, so that clients get solutions that go beyond what they expected.

Requirements

• Experience working directly with customers, and enjoying it.
• Experience deploying enterprise software in private or hybrid cloud environments.
• Proven experience running production Kubernetes clusters, with strong Helm skills.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure on Azure, AWS or GCP, plus networking and virtualization.
• Comfort executing well when priorities and goals keep changing.

Conditions

Full-time role based in North America.

The company is remote-friendly, with offices in Toronto, London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul, and more on the way.
