Forward Deployed Engineer

Description

The company sells an AI-powered CRM and is moving customers into agentic AI, where people and AI agents work together on customer success.

This role is a Forward Deployed Engineer position in a delivery team. Engineers build and ship agentic AI solutions inside customer environments, and the solutions go live in production from the start.

Engagements may involve one large strategic customer or several accounts at once. The work involves real code, real environments and measurable business results, covering configuration, customisation and full-stack deployment.

The role is part of a delivery pod with a Deployment Strategist, a customer-facing advisor who shapes AI strategy and drives adoption.

Responsibilities

• Build AI agents that take real actions for large organisations, including prompts, reasoning, tool calls and links to customer systems.
• Take technical components from architecture choice through to deployment, validation and production monitoring.
• Build and integrate data pipelines across the company Data 360, Snowflake, Databricks and customer data platforms, including data modelling and output checks.
• Build and maintain dashboards that track agent performance and customer KPIs, showing deployment health and business outcomes.
• Help build proofs of concept and MVPs that can go from sketch to deployable in days.
• Co-build with customers and partners, sharing best practices and enablement so each team is stronger after the engagement.
• Pass platform gaps, edge cases and field insights to senior engineers and the product team.
• Work with the Deployment Strategist in your pod to turn customer business problems into agentic solutions that reach production.

Requirements

• You have 3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience, including at least one production system you can walk someone through, ideally in an AI stack, full-stack development or work with frontier models.
• You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• You have prior customer-facing technical delivery experience, such as consulting, professional services or forward deployed engineering. This is a requirement.
• You are fluent in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Apex, and willing to learn more as the work requires.
• You have hands-on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, and can explain why a prompt failed and what you would change.
• You can design data models, APIs and integration patterns, not just use them.
• You can work confidently with sales teams and customer architects.
• You write quality code and evaluate AI outputs with engineering rigour.
• You keep up with the AI and data landscape by testing new tools and models.
• You enjoy working in a team that builds things together.
• You are willing to travel around 25% of the time to work directly with customers.
• You speak English and Polish.
• Nice to have: the company platform experience or certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I or Agentforce Specialist.
• Nice to have: familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex, and orchestration patterns.
• Nice to have: hands-on work with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks or BigQuery.
