Staff Software Development Engineer

Description

The company is growing and is hiring a Staff Software Development Engineer to help improve its products.

The role focuses on the company's electronics design software.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and carefully test both low-level code (computational geometry and algorithms) and high-level code (application and business logic) for the products.
• Create advanced algorithms and specifications that the software solutions are built on.
• Maintain and support existing source code across several products.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong C skills, with.NET Framework and.NET Core.
• Delphi experience is a definite advantage.
• Show that you work with modern programming techniques and patterns and adapt well to new approaches.
• Tune performance and memory use with tools such as PerfView, the Microsoft Visual Studio Profiler and RenderDoc, among others.
• Write efficient, compact code that runs across platforms.
• Understand algorithms and data structures well, and have hands-on experience with complexity analysis.
• Design and build modular solutions that are easy to extend.
• Communicate clearly in English, both in writing and speaking, in a professional setting.
• Advantage: familiarity with CAD tools is highly valued.
