Sign Up to ReadYou will set the direction for quality on the Duro Design team, building the systems that let hardware engineers depend on the platform daily.
You will work across the whole stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services, and help build confidence into design, release, and operations. You will work closely with engineering, product, and DevOps in a fast-moving, largely self-directed setting.
The team values engineers who reason about risk as a system, are comfortable experimenting, and use modern AI-assisted workflows to raise quality across the organization.
The company is an embedded semiconductor solution provider serving automotive, industrial, infrastructure, and IoT markets. It has over 22,000 employees in more than 30 countries.
The team's stance is that it does not hire testers. It hires engineers who raise the quality bar. Its stated priorities are architectural intuition, precise communication, pattern recognition, product taste, and curiosity about improving how it builds.
The team looks for people who can read a roadmap, predict where quality risk will concentrate, and design systems that let teams ship quickly and with confidence.
The base salary range is $150,000 to $175,000 per year. Final pay depends on factors such as skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location.
The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Los Angeles, CA office. The company's in-office days are Tuesday through Thursday, and employees can work remotely the other two days.
The company deals with dual-use technology subject to U.S. export controls, so it may need a U.S. government export license before sharing technology with certain people.
The company is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
