Senior SAP Developer (9-month Fixed Term Contract)

Description

The company is looking for a Senior SAP Developer on a 9-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

You will design, document and build extensions that improve sales-order management across the company, working with SAP S/4HANA Advanced Available-to-Promise.

You will build side-by-side solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform that simplify rule management and turn operational data into useful business insight.

You will join Digital Technology and work in a product team, with close communication and clear technical writing shaping decisions with technical and business colleagues.

Over the coming months the team will focus on digital solutions for order management and product allocation, working closely with the lead engineer, Product Management and business stakeholders in Global Commercial Operations.

If you have delivered SAP Business Technology Platform and Advanced Available-to-Promise solutions before, the work will suit you. Clear communication and documentation matter most.

Responsibilities

• Build side-by-side extensions that make Advanced Available-to-Promise rules easier to manage.
• Create solutions for product allocation, backorder processing and supply protection.
• Add embedded analytics that help teams learn from operational data.
• Build reliable applications within the SAP Business Technology Platform ABAP Environment.
• Provide the technology needed for the Quote to Fulfil project.
• Deliver the agreed solution and earn positive feedback from business partners and the lead engineer.

Requirements

• Have delivered SAP development using ABAP for Cloud Development and the RESTful Application Programming Model.
• Have built cloud-ready applications using SAP Cloud development principles and Core Data Services.
• Have created SAPUI5 applications with Fiori Elements and standard SAP Fiori design patterns.
• Have designed applications and extensions that follow SAP Clean Core principles, including side-by-side and on-stack extensibility.
• Have applied SAP Sales, Delivery Processing, Advanced Available-to-Promise and Backorder Processing in relevant projects.
• Have written clear technical documentation that supports implementation, maintenance and decision-making.
• Preferred: have put development operations practices into use, including source control, automated pipelines, testing and release management.

Conditions

The contract is a 9-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave.

Your primary workplace will be assigned when you join, either an office, store or factory.

The hybrid policy averages 3 days per week in the office. The hiring team will discuss the policy and your eligibility during recruitment.
