Solution Architect

Description

The company is hiring a Solution Architect in Czechia to design and deliver cloud, data and AI solutions for the life insurance business.

You will make sure solutions fit the company's enterprise architecture, data strategy and business goals, and meet its standards, policies and regulatory requirements.

You will work with teams and stakeholders across different business areas and countries to keep integration smooth.

Responsibilities

• Work with tech leads, architects, engineers, product owners and business stakeholders to design solutions for a range of business use cases.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture, technology roadmaps and sustainability goals, working with the wider architecture community.
• Produce clear solution designs, proofs of concept and documentation covering business impact, compliance, ethics, and DevOps and MLOps practices.
• Compare design options, recommend an architecture, and explain decisions and trade-offs.
• Take part in hands-on development and quality assurance within cross-functional teams.
• Coach engineers and developers on architecture best practice.
• Review current technologies and define a direction towards modern, headless and MASA architectures.
• Build non-functional requirements such as scalability, security, performance and reliability into designs, using integration platforms and modern frameworks.

Requirements

• 5+ years designing and delivering cloud, data and AI solutions at scale.
• Proven experience with deployment, orchestration and lifecycle management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, such as Azure AI, Databricks and AKS.
• Familiarity with LLMs, RAG architectures and agent-based AI systems.
• Solid grasp of data architecture, APIs, microservices and event-driven design.
• Knowledge of security, compliance and regulatory constraints in financial services is an advantage.
• Excellent English communication, with the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
