Digital Presales Technology Consultant - Storage

Description

The role is hybrid, with an average of 2 days per week in a company office.

The company helps customers connect, protect, analyze and act on their data and applications across edge and cloud environments, so they can turn insights into results quickly.

The TecHub Consultant provides technical support and sometimes leads the building and delivery of technology solutions that fit customer business needs. During deal pursuits, this person offers the deepest product and technology knowledge in the sales organization.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer business goals into technical solutions that you propose and configure.
• Take part in complex architecture, design and sizing work, identifying site-specific parameters and constraints that affect the solution.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, managing expectations and responding to concerns professionally.
• Deliver your output within the agreed SLA and log all work in the ticketing system.
• Explain very technical information clearly to audiences with different levels of knowledge, and show technical competence in communication with customers and partners.
• Keep growing your knowledge of the company's technology and solutions, deepen expertise in one specialty, and learn new products and features on your own.
• Take on extra work such as product lead or coordinator tasks, both within and beyond the team.
• Share knowledge with peers, and train and coach new colleagues.
• Handle the administrative work tied to these tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical specialty.
• Proven IT background, gained through work history or education, with the ability to analyze complex technical information.
• 1-3 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on technical selling.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot and solve problems.
• Solid technical skills in your assigned specialty.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Basic project management skills.
• Good business and financial judgment.
• Working knowledge of consultative selling methods, such as active listening, framing, whiteboarding and storytelling.
• MS Office.
• Basic familiarity with social media, blogging and other tools for sharing information.
• Industry certifications, both knowledge-based and experience-based, are preferred.

Hybrid role, with an average of 2 days per week in a company office.

Based in Bulgaria or the Czech Republic.
