Digital Presales Technology Consultant - Storage with Spanish/ Italian

Description

The team sits in technology presales for storage. The company helps other organisations connect, protect, analyze and act on their data and applications, from edge to cloud.

This is a technical consulting role that supports sales with deep product and technology knowledge during deal pursuits.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships that keep customers satisfied.
• Explain very technical information clearly to audiences with different backgrounds.
• Hold technical discussions with requesters and customers.
• Build and deepen your knowledge of the company's technology and solutions, with a chosen area of specialization.
• Translate customers' business requirements into technical proposals and configurations that help them reach their goals.
• Contribute to complex architecture, design and sizing by identifying site-specific parameters and constraints.
• Deliver your work within the agreed service level agreement (SLA) and track it in the ticketing system.
• Manage customer expectations and respond to their concerns.
• Show technical competence in customer and partner communications.
• Learn about new products and features on your own and find the resources you need.
• Take on extra duties, such as product lead or coordinator tasks, that involve support inside and outside the team.
• Share knowledge and experience with peers, and train and coach new colleagues.
• Handle administrative tasks linked to this work.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or a related technical specialty.
• Proven IT background from work history or education, with the ability to analyze technical information and explain it to varied audiences.
• 1-3 years of experience in the technology industry with a focus on technical selling.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Fluent in written and verbal Spanish/Italian.
• Solid technical skills in your area of specialization.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to spot and solve problems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic project management skills.
• Good business and financial acumen.
• Knowledge of consultative selling, including active listening, framing, whiteboarding and storytelling.
• Working knowledge of MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of social media, blogging and similar information-sharing tools.
• Knowledge-based and experience-based industry certifications are preferred.

Conditions

Hybrid role: on average 2 days per week in an HPE office.

Based in Bulgaria or the Czech Republic.

Job level TCP02, within Services.
