Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Description

The company is combining its technical teams and recent acquisitions under one shared technical strategy, and the infrastructure platform is where that work starts. The aim is to let engineering teams build, ship and run the company's large product catalog in a uniform way.

This senior role sits on the InfraPlat team, which leads technical initiatives across several projects. Current work includes multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, standard deployment tooling and the company-wide authentication platform. You will also work with product engineering stakeholders to define requests, find pain points shared across the organization and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and carry out platform initiatives such as multi-account and multi-region Kubernetes clusters, MLOps, standardized deployments and company-wide authentication.
• Talk with product engineering teams to scope their requests, spot shared problems across the organization and decide what to tackle first.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 years of experience building software and running platforms.
• Have built applications and automation that remove repetitive operational work for engineering teams.
• Understand developer experience and know how to multiply the output of engineers across the whole organization.
• Communicate clearly enough to move new teams onto the platform.
• Enjoy mentoring others and helping the people around you grow to their full potential.

Conditions

The role is office-first, with hybrid arrangements that vary by role and location.

Occasional travel may be required.

The annualized base salary range is $180,000 to $250,000 USD.
