Senior Program Manager

The Software Engineering team in Aarhus, Denmark is hiring a Senior Software Program Manager to connect product direction, engineering quality and business goals so that software delivery produces real value.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of software initiatives from development through to delivery, making sure they create value for customers and the business.
• Work with Product Management, Engineering and key stakeholders to agree on priorities, Program Increments and execution.
• Act as Product Owner (PO), leading planning, coordination and delivery across cross-functional Agile teams.
• Spot, track and resolve risks, dependencies and blockers so programs stay on schedule and meet business targets.
• Keep stakeholders informed with clear updates on progress, priorities and results.
• Find ways to improve products, platforms and working methods using customer, business and technical input.
• Promote Agile practices and continuous improvement to raise delivery speed and quality.
• Help shape the product roadmap by turning stakeholder needs and market opportunities into concrete initiatives.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.
• Have 8+ years of experience in software development, product ownership, program management or Agile delivery leadership.
• Have a proven record of running complex software programs that involve several teams and stakeholders.
• Be experienced in backlog management, program planning, prioritization and delivery governance.
• Communicate well, facilitate effectively and manage stakeholders with confidence.
• Influence decisions and get teams aligned around shared goals.
• Think analytically and solve problems with strength.
• Speak and write English excellently.
• Have broad technical knowledge of software and systems development and delivery, including QA, deployment, SaaS, Cloud, AI and related areas.
• Preferred: experience in large software organizations with distributed teams.
• Preferred: prior work as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Engineering Manager or Senior Software Engineer.
• Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps, Aha!, Confluence or similar delivery and planning tools.
• Preferred: SAFe, Scrum, Agile or Project Management certification.
