The company is a global leader in poultry processing systems, designing, selling, installing and servicing equipment and software that help food producers work more efficiently, sustainably and safely.

The Poultry division builds processing equipment and supports it with AXIN, a flexible, scalable production control software suite that lets customers monitor and optimise each stage, from live bird supply to packaging and quality control.

The role is a specialist position for Digital Applications, focused on the digital solutions the Poultry portfolio is building out. It supports sales teams worldwide, with a focus on specific product-market combinations (PMCs), and works with Area Sales Managers, Account Managers and back-office staff to find opportunities, shape proposals and position solutions in the market.

Demand is growing in both the volume and complexity of customer questions, driven by market needs and regulations such as the NIS2 and CRA directives. The role helps shape the Poultry Digital Roadmap, grow product value by region and keep pace with competitor and regulatory changes.

The job sits between technology and business, turning technical capabilities into clear commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Give sales teams detailed product and market knowledge in your area.
• Push Area Sales Managers to find and win new business.
• Identify chances for new or improved PMCs and connect Sales with Innovation.
• Gather and analyse market, product and competitor data to sharpen the customer value proposition.
• Build and maintain internal and external relationships, including with R&D, Engineering and Technology specialists.
• Visit customers regularly, about 35% of the time, and take part in exhibitions, demos and industry events.

Requirements

• A degree (MSc or BSc) in Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering, Business Information, Technical Informatics or a similar field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, product sales or technical sales of capital equipment or industrial solutions.
• A strong interest in digitalisation, software and data-driven services in industrial settings.
• A record of linking business needs with technical capabilities, ideally in product management, product ownership or a solution specialist role.
• Understanding of, or interest in, regulation such as cybersecurity and data compliance (for example NIS2).
• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems is strongly preferred.
• An analytical mind with a broad view of the business.
• Proactive, curious and customer-focused, with strong communication and influencing skills.
• Fluent English. Other languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% internationally.
• Commercial awareness combined with technical curiosity and an interest in the food and poultry industry. You are comfortable in B2B sales and product management of digital solutions, and you do well in a dynamic, international team.
