Description

The company is a Canadian leader in digital automotive solutions and part of AutoScout24 group, Europe's largest online car marketplace.

Its software serves 3,500+ dealers, helping them run operations, marketing and sales.

The role sits on AutoSync's Consumer Experience team, which designs the websites and e-commerce tools that help consumers find, compare and buy vehicles.

You will design the full car shopping path: search, filters, comparison, vehicle details, payment estimates, trade-in valuations, financing applications and online deposits.

The team works with Retail Operations to connect online experiences with dealership workflows, and with Product and Engineering to balance consumer needs against dealer outcomes while contributing to a shared design system.

Success is measured by qualified leads, completed shopping and purchase actions, and resulting vehicle sales.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product design for key parts of the dealership websites and e-commerce experiences, from discovery and concepts through launch and later improvements.
  • Design responsive experiences that help consumers find vehicles, weigh their options, understand prices and payments, and feel confident about buying.
  • Make complex transactions such as trade-in valuations, financing, protection products and deposits clear, with thoughtful interactions and timely reassurance.
  • Work with Product, Engineering and Delivery to define problems, explore solutions, test prototypes and ship high-quality work.
  • Use consumer research, usability testing, product analytics and experiments to find friction, validate decisions and lift conversion.
  • Explore a range of concepts and set a clear design direction that balances a cohesive vision with incremental delivery.
  • Contribute to the design system and work with Engineering to keep experiences consistent and accessible across devices and dealership brands.
  • Champion consumer needs while understanding dealer goals, and explain design reasoning and trade-offs to cross-functional partners.
  • Lead and join critiques and ideation sessions, give constructive feedback, and review shipped experiences to protect design quality.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of end-to-end design experience, covering research, problem discovery, detailed interaction design, visual design and delivery.
  • Experience leading design for complex use cases across cross-functional teams.
  • A portfolio showing strong visual and interaction design, with a focus on consumer and business outcomes.
  • The ability to argue a clear point of view, supported by your own expertise, design reasoning, customer data and industry trends.
  • A self-starter who handles multiple tasks and changing business priorities well.
  • Bonus: experience in automotive and/or SaaS enterprise software products.

Conditions

The expected compensation is 110K-115K.
