Description

The company brings together the company's site, AutoSync, Dealertrack Canada and CMS, supporting automotive retail and financing across Canada. It is part of the AutoScout24 group, linking Canadian operations with an international automotive marketplace network.

Dealertrack Canada links automotive dealers and lenders through technology for credit applications, digital contracting and financing workflows.

As a Business Analyst, you will support Dealertrack's lender clients through implementation, testing, production support and platform changes. You will sit between lenders and internal teams, investigating issues, clarifying requirements, checking solutions and keeping the client experience strong.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main functional contact for lender testing and production issues. Reproduce reported problems and compare what happens with agreed requirements and business rules.
  • Work out whether a problem stems from configuration, data, intended behaviour or a product defect, then coordinate internal follow-up until the issue is resolved and closed.
  • Support lender UAT, PVT, SVT and post-launch checks. Confirm delivered functionality matches approved requirements before release and help retest fixed issues.
  • Take part in lender setup, discovery, implementation and solution discussions. Clarify business rules, configuration, test expectations, dependencies, risks and acceptance criteria.
  • Record decisions, actions and requirements, and make sure they appear in the right implementation documents.
  • Build and upkeep lender-specific business-rule references, mappings, calculators, rate sheets and other support materials. Keep them accurate, approved and matched to current system behaviour, with version and change history.
  • Help with production incidents that need functional or lender context by interpreting business rules, providing test evidence, assessing lender impact and confirming fixes.
  • Confirm which users, roles, approvals and scope lender and client access requires. Validate provisioning and follow up on access problems.
  • Support Product during discovery and planning for lender initiatives, including scope and statement-of-work discussions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in business analysis, implementation or functional support in a client-facing technology setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or a related field.
  • Skill in investigating issues, interpreting business rules and checking system behaviour against agreed requirements.
  • Experience supporting testing and validation, recording results and confirming solutions meet acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to clarify requirements, dependencies and risks and keep business and implementation documents accurate.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, including working closely with clients and internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Careful attention to detail when maintaining business rules, mappings, production materials and change history.
  • Familiarity with lending or financial services workflows is an advantage.

Conditions

Salary range is $65,000 to $85,000 CAD. The final offer may differ and may be higher depending on skills, experience, location and market conditions. The total rewards package may also include benefits, bonus and other employee offerings.
