Description

The company is a Canadian provider of digital automotive solutions, part of the AutoScout24 group, which runs Europe's largest online car marketplace.

Its Dealertrack Canada portal is the country's leading automotive financing platform, handling more than 6.5 million credit applications a year. Collateral Management (CMS) is a national technology solution covering lien and registration services, recovery services, and insolvency management for Canadian lenders.

The role sits in the fintech domain and supports automotive lending, dealer workflows, and lender experiences across Canada. You will report to the Product Director and act as an individual contributor with direct visibility on company priorities and customer outcomes.

You will work with engineering, design, data, commercial teams, lenders, and partners to turn customer needs, business opportunities, and product performance data into clear direction and measurable results. You should enjoy complex problems, work well without full clarity, and get teams aligned around a product vision. A hands-on, experimental approach is expected, including proven use of AI tools for discovery, research, analysis, story refinement, prototyping, and delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a key fintech product area, and own it from discovery through delivery and ongoing health.
  • Define success metrics for your area, track adoption and business impact, understand what drives performance, and use the data to set priorities.
  • Work with lenders, dealers, and internal teams to learn how their needs are changing and keep the platforms supporting critical lending workflows.
  • Lead discovery on hard problems by testing hypotheses through customer research, data analysis, structured experiments, and market insight.
  • Turn customer, partner, data, and business input into priorities, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical context.
  • Coordinate engineering, design, data, product marketing, sales, operations, and business teams to ship high-impact products.
  • Make clear product decisions in complicated stakeholder settings, across integrations, workflows, and business constraints, even when data is incomplete.
  • Explain the product vision, strategy, roadmap choices, performance, and launch results to executives, partners, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, digital platforms, fintech, lending, automotive, CRM, dealer software, or other complex product settings.
  • A record of owning strategy, roadmap, delivery, and outcomes for complex products or platforms.
  • Solid data-driven decision making, including setting success metrics, analysing performance, sizing opportunities, and weighing trade-offs across customer, business, and product signals.
  • Strong product fundamentals: discovery, prioritisation, story writing, acceptance criteria, roadmap planning, agile delivery, and go-to-market work.
  • Ability to work in complex systems with many stakeholders, integrations, customer segments, workflows, and commercial factors.
  • Strong technical understanding and the ability to work closely with engineers as a trusted product partner.
  • Proven use of AI tools across product work, such as research, prototyping, analysis, story writing, prioritisation, or speeding up workflows.
  • Comfortable managing stakeholders at several levels and communicating proactively with leadership, partners, and delivery teams.
  • A collaborative approach, a strong sense of ownership, and a history of helping the people around you improve.
  • The work involves constant change, complexity, and ambiguity, and the team pushes hard on difficult problems. Many people find this energising, but it is not for everyone.
  • Before applying, check that you can care about the impact of your work, keep learning and improving, keep pace with a fast-moving environment, stay resilient when problems are unclear, bring clear thinking and firm opinions to healthy debate, use AI to free time for higher-value work, balance customer empathy, business impact, data, and technical feasibility, and challenge ideas respectfully while valuing other views.
