Description

The company runs a rideshare platform connecting people with transportation, and this team focuses on the drivers who make that work.

The Driver team aims to deliver high-quality service by helping drivers do their best. This is a senior product manager role on a fast-moving team, where you find and fix the friction drivers hit most, making interactions simpler and systems feel intuitive, fair, and supportive.

You bring strong empathy, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach, and you work across the company to build experiences around quality, transparency, and fairness.

Responsibilities

  • Understand driver and business needs well enough to set an ambitious product vision that your team, peers, and leadership can rally behind.
  • Define your team's goals and success metrics, tied to the company's mission, and aim for the greatest impact using data analysis, market research, and user research.
  • Create a product roadmap that delivers those goals, and lead a core group of engineers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to carry it out.
  • Build alignment with partner teams and work with them on shared goals and initiatives.
  • Share roadmaps, priorities, experiments, and decisions with audiences ranging from partner teams to executives.
  • Take full ownership of your team's products, whether existing or new, from ideation through development and launch to growth and upkeep.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management, product design, or equivalent consulting, with significant time leading consumer-facing products.
  • You organize ambiguous, complex, interdependent projects in a structured way, and you can define and analyze the metrics that show whether your products succeed.
  • You have strong user empathy and hands-on experience with customer discovery and product development.
  • You have built alignment and influenced decisions across organizational lines and with senior leaders, using sound judgment to balance a flawless user experience against the needs of a two-sided marketplace.
  • You communicate well at every level, planning how to talk to teammates, the company, users, and other audiences.
  • You stay on top of multiple projects, deadlines, and requests with attention to detail.

Conditions

This is a hybrid role based in the Toronto area. You will be in the office 3 days per week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The company treats in-office work of at least 3 days per week as an essential function of the role.

Hybrid roles allow you to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.

The expected base salary is $136,000 - $170,000 in the Toronto area, excluding possible equity, bonus, or benefits. Pay depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and location, and your recruiter can share the range for your specific location during hiring.

Equal opportunity statement: the company welcomes applicants of all backgrounds.
