Description

The company is a no-code network automation business, founded in 2004, with over 2,500 large enterprises and managed service providers as customers.

The platform helps IT operations teams scale hybrid multi-cloud connected networks by automating diagnostic troubleshooting, outage prevention and protected change management.

This product manager role connects product, marketing and go-to-market teams. You will turn product strategy into clear positioning, lead cross-functional launches and make sure the platform meets customer needs and market opportunities in an AI-driven space.

The ideal candidate combines technical strength, analytical thinking, storytelling and drive to execute, and helps shape product direction.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap and backlog for a defined product area, weighing customer needs, technical limits and business priorities.
  • Run customer, market and competitor research to find problems worth solving, and turn findings into clear recommendations.
  • Write user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria, and keep feature documentation and internal knowledge resources current.
  • Collect and summarise input from customers, Sales and Support, and convert it into ranked product improvements.
  • Work with Engineering, Design and QA from planning through development and release, tracking progress, managing scope trade-offs and clearing blockers.
  • Keep roadmaps and timelines for your area up to date and inform stakeholders about status, risks and changes.
  • Lead launches for small and mid-sized features and support major ones with Product Marketing and Customer Success, covering launch readiness, internal enablement and customer-facing documentation.
  • Check features against requirements, triage issues with QA and Engineering, and ensure releases meet usability and quality standards.
  • Set success metrics for your features, analyse usage and adoption data, and use the results to guide iteration.
  • Keep up with network automation, competitors and AI trends that affect your product area.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in product management or a closely related role such as product operations, business analysis, technical program management or solutions consulting, at a software or technology company.
  • Experience taking features from idea to launch with an engineering team, including writing requirements and prioritising a backlog.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and comfort using data to judge decisions and measure outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including explaining technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work across Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing and Support and influence people without direct authority.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver with limited supervision.
  • Proficiency with product and collaboration tools such as Jira, roadmapping tools, spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Interest in networking, IT operations or automation.
  • Experience with SaaS, enterprise software or AI/automation products.
  • Familiarity with networking or IT operations concepts.
  • Experience with product analytics tools.

Conditions

Base salary is estimated at CAD $90,000 to CAD $110,000, plus potential bonus. The final figure depends on factors such as market rates and individual qualifications assessed during interviews, and the range is a guideline that may change.

Background reviews are individual and holistic, in line with applicable law.

It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.

Benefits

  • Compensation is designed to recognise the impact people have on company goals.
  • Benefits beyond cash pay include RRSP and medical and dental coverage, and your recruiter can explain the Total Rewards approach in more detail.
