Seamless Travel Senior Solution Architect

Description

The company's Seamless Travel division serves large European airports. As Senior Solution Architect, you will design and adapt complete technical solutions for these customers, working alongside software, network, hardware and cloud teams. Every deployment must run around the clock and meet the company's security, cloud and enterprise standards.

You will take part in pre-sales, solution design, customer workshops, infrastructure planning, and technical leadership of deployments and change requests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the solution architect on self-service airport projects, shaping customer-facing technical and functional designs from start to finish.
• Turn business and operational needs into secure, scalable architectures for systems that must stay up 24/7.
• Design and run cloud and hybrid infrastructure for airport environments, covering AWS, networking, security and on-premises connections.
• Lead security and compliance work, including tooling, penetration tests and customer security reviews.
• Support pre-sales, deployments, migrations and upgrades, and help write RFP and RFI responses and technical estimates.
• Work with global engineering and delivery teams to automate operations and share good practice across projects.

Requirements

• A proven record of delivering complete technical solutions in regulated, complex environments with many stakeholders, such as airports, transport, banking, healthcare or telecoms.
• Experience as a solution architect, customer solution architect or network architect, ideally in global, matrix organizations.
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure, secure network design, IAM, firewalls, TLS and certificates, OS and device hardening, and vulnerability management.
• Hands-on work with AWS. Azure or GCP is also acceptable, along with cloud networking fundamentals.
• Experience architecting and delivering mission-critical systems that run 24/7.
• A track record of multi-site rollouts, hardware and software deployments, and edge device integrations.
• Solid working knowledge of automation, scripting in Python and shell, CI/CD pipelines, Git and Agile methods.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring and observability platforms. Elastic experience is a plus.
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel when required.
