Senior Solution Architect

Description

The role centres on designing and documenting logical architectures for solutions with low to medium architectural impact, making sure they fit the project's reference application architecture and the governance rules that apply.

Responsibilities

• Design and document logical architectures for solutions with low to medium architectural impact.
• Design and specify APIs.
• Review business requirements and check that they align with the project's reference application architecture.
• Write architecture documentation that is clear, consistent and compliant with governance requirements.
• Share guidance on security, application architecture and technology architecture.
• Encourage architecture standards and good practice across teams.
• Work with stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams, keeping quality and delivery in view.

Requirements

• Up to 10 years of relevant experience.
• A degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a closely related field.
• Solid understanding of architecture and the documents and artefacts that go with it.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and spoken communication.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in an international team.
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
• Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities sector and GDPR.
• Experience with Agile methods, JIRA and Confluence.
• Project experience.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
• A certification in architecture, Microsoft technologies, cloud or an equivalent area.
