Sales and Marketing Territory Manager (Musketeer) - Wellington

The company is looking for a full-time on-premise sales and marketing territory manager based in Wellington, working with the best bars, restaurants, clubs and events to build long-term partnerships.

The role focuses on growing sales through creative concepts and new distribution points, as an ambassador who represents the brand's lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand at trendy cafés and bars, top clubs, large festivals and private, exclusive events.
• Make sure the products are visible and available wherever you work.
• Own the on-premise sales and marketing activities for your region.
• Know your area well, track trends and look for new opportunities.
• Build and roll out strategies and new tools that deliver a strong pitch.
• Make every customer meeting valuable by offering insight, observations and strategic advice.
• Negotiate deals that grow earnings for customers and the company, and beat sales and marketing targets.
• Find creative ways to problem solve and market, keeping the brand first in the on-premise sector.

Requirements

• At least 1-3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role.
• A genuine interest in hospitality. Previous hospitality experience is highly valued, such as bar manager, venue manager, event promoter, restaurant owner or similar roles.
• A solution-focused approach with sound commercial judgement.
• A confident, driven mindset aimed at winning.
• A professional, dependable attitude with a can-do approach.
• Existing contacts in the nightlife scene, or the ability to build them quickly and smoothly.
• Comfort with flexible, independent work that is not a 9-5 desk job, including working in venues and on nights and weekends.
• Qualification to work in New Zealand.

Conditions

Full-time role based in Wellington.

Regular work in venues, including nights and weekends.
