Description

The company runs an AI-powered marketplace that matches buyers who need custom manufactured parts with a global network of manufacturing partners.

This director-level role owns marketing that creates demand on both sides of the marketplace, including turning buyer interest into sales-ready leads, growing revenue in existing accounts, and recruiting, activating and keeping the manufacturing partners who do the work.

You set the strategy, coordinate execution across functions, and remain hands-on in the programs themselves.

You will lead a team of 5, 6 marketers.

Responsibilities

  • Run the marketing qualified lead program from first contact through qualification and handoff to Sales, agree conversion targets with Sales, improve nurture programs, and work with Marketing Technology on lead data quality.
  • Set the direction for growing existing accounts from onboarding through long-term retention, and build referral, review and reference programs that turn happy buyers into advocates.
  • Produce on-brand, insight-led messaging, proof points and sales materials that Sales actually uses, acting as Sales' main Marketing partner.
  • Own partner marketing strategy and planning, and track results against global partner recruitment targets.
  • Design multi-channel programs to recruit new manufacturing partners and win back those who have lapsed.
  • Build the company's standing among manufacturers through content partnerships, industry presence and PR plans developed with Communications.
  • Help new partners finish onboarding and win their first jobs, keep them engaged and ready to accept work, and cut the number who leave the network.
  • Work with the international partner marketing team to develop insights and assets together and adapt them for local markets.
  • Serve as the main marketing partner to the team that manages the supplier network.
  • Build a steady flow of buyer and partner customer stories for Sales, Content and Campaigns.
  • Set and run event strategy for buyer and partner audiences.
  • Manage the commercial marketing budget and make sure invoices are accurate.

Requirements

  • At least 12 years in B2B marketing, including at least 5 years leading teams. Marketplace, SaaS or technology experience is strongly preferred; manufacturing familiarity is a plus.
  • Deep growth marketing skills: lead generation and qualification, nurture design and conversion, and a track record of working closely with Sales.
  • Able to work across Sales, Product, Operations and Marketing to align on growth priorities, and to influence without direct authority.
  • Able to turn complex offerings into clear, relevant value propositions for each audience.
  • Skilled at capturing the voice of the market and using it so that all marketing lands with the target audience.
  • Experience building engagement programs that grow both participation and value.
  • Strong creative judgment for assessing and guiding campaign concepts, messaging and storytelling.
  • Analytical; able to use data, research and dashboards to improve programs and prove ROI.
  • Hands-on with current AI and Martech tools, such as Claude, Gemini, Salesforce, HubSpot and Looker.
  • Strong people leader who develops managers and builds high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth setting, balancing near-term priorities with long-term brand building.
