Description

The company runs a digital marketplace that links businesses with manufacturers, helping manufacturers grow and giving enterprise buyers at Fortune 1000 companies access to manufacturing capacity worldwide.

The company wants an experienced leader to raise the role of marketing. You will sit on the Global Marketing and regional leadership teams, work with the Global CMO and regional leaders, and lead the team that drives growth across EMEA and APAC through customer acquisition, lifecycle and retention, localized product marketing, regional sales enablement and localized content.

You will be part of the regional Executive Leadership Team and a core partner to the EMEA and APAC GMs. You report globally but work closely with regional GMs and sales leaders to grow P&L in current markets and enter new ones.

The team values an entrepreneurial, test-and-learn approach. You will bring operating rigor, data discipline and AI-enabled working methods. The regional team generates marketing innovation that the U.S. region adopts, and U.S. playbooks get adapted for manufacturing markets in each region. You will co-run this two-way exchange with U.S. marketing leadership, balancing global brand consistency with local growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional marketing directors and their teams across demand generation, lifecycle and CRM, and product and content marketing. Your team delivers this work, and you are accountable for the results.
  • Be the marketing voice on the regional ELT, shaping EMEA and APAC strategy with the GMs and regional sales leaders.
  • Turn regional P&L, revenue and expansion priorities into a marketing agenda with clear ownership of results.
  • Spot buyer trends early and build insight-led plays that speed marketplace adoption across varied geographies.
  • Bring proven U.S. playbooks, including champion-led growth, to EMEA and APAC, and send regional innovation back to the U.S.
  • Contribute to global marketing strategy as a member of the Global Marketing leadership team and act as a trusted advisor to the Global CMO.
  • Partner with sales leadership to grow corporate and enterprise accounts.
  • Build account-based marketing and sales enablement into a competitive edge that presents the company as digital infrastructure for custom manufacturing.
  • Give sales localized narratives, pitch materials and proof points that raise win rates, shorten cycles and increase buyers per account.
  • Work with the U.S. brand team to build awareness, sentiment and credibility with engineering and procurement audiences in each market, keeping the global brand consistent.
  • Set a high bar for content quality, balancing the global brand with local relevance and cultural nuance, with the U.S. brand and content teams.
  • Localize global thought leadership and technical content, and create local content where it adds value.
  • Own acquisition and retention results, with KPIs tied to regional revenue, repeat usage and marketplace engagement.
  • Shape localized demand generation that reaches engineers, procurement professionals and enterprise buyers.
  • Coordinate lifecycle programs across onboarding, activation, retention and loyalty across regions, keeping them compliant with local rules including GDPR.
  • Sharpen positioning, messaging and go-to-market for new marketplace capabilities across EMEA and APAC.
  • Set launch models across Product, Growth and Sales for new country entries and new manufacturing processes.
  • Work with U.S. product marketing so global launches work in EMEA and APAC.
  • Continue building a scalable, agile marketing engine with the current regional marketing leaders.
  • Develop regional leaders so they can own market-level outcomes on their own.
  • Keep roles and accountability clear across time zones and build a culture of performance, curiosity and cross-border collaboration.
  • In the first 12 months, deliver the agreed regional and marketing north star metrics and EMEA and APAC P&L targets, set with the GMs and the Global CMO, with marketing's contribution to revenue, pipeline and enterprise account growth measured clearly.
  • Within the first 12 months, agree a shared marketing plan with each GM that ties marketing goals to P&L, pipeline and enterprise account targets, with a regular review cadence.
  • Within the first 12 months, show measurable progress on acquisition, repeat usage and buyers per account in priority markets.
  • Within the first 12 months, adapt at least one proven U.S. demand engine to a regional market in a repeatable way, and surface at least one regional innovation that the U.S. adopts.
  • Within the first 12 months, earn the trust of the GMs, regional sales leaders and your team while keeping the team's momentum and entrepreneurial culture.
  • Within the first 12 months, contribute to global marketing strategy beyond the region as a Global Marketing leadership team member and trusted partner to the Global CMO.
  • Within the first 12 months, introduce AI-enabled and data-driven ways of working that raise team productivity without slowing execution.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of progressive B2B or B2B-adjacent e-commerce leadership, with deep marketing expertise and substantial experience leading across EMEA and APAC.
  • Experience in e-commerce, marketplace, or manufacturing and technology businesses that scaled across several markets.
  • A record of acting as a P&L partner to GMs and sales leaders, with direct impact on regional revenue and enterprise account growth.
  • Experience leading multi-market teams across demand generation, lifecycle, brand and product marketing, in several countries and languages.
  • Analytical and quantitative rigor combined with creative vision, plus hands-on experience leading AI-driven change in marketing operations.
  • A human-centric leadership style and the ability to work authentically across cultures and understand buyers in different markets.
  • Experience working in a global matrix between headquarters and regional leadership, exchanging playbooks and innovation in both directions.
  • Strong executive communication skills and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders.
  • You build things and are comfortable moving fast with incomplete information, and you know how to turn what works into a repeatable system.
  • You respect what the current team has built and bring the discipline to scale it.
  • You think like an enterprise leader, lead through influence across a matrix, and hold yourself and your team accountable for revenue and P&L outcomes.
  • You are motivated by impact and by the challenge of helping a high-growth business with strong internal and macro momentum move to its next stage.
  • You are curious intellectually and practically. You ask why, follow the evidence and turn what you learn into action.
