Project Manager – Internal & External International Digital Projects

Description

The company is looking for a project manager to lead complex digital and IT projects that run across several countries, business units and external partners.

You will own projects from start to finish and work closely with stakeholders in an international, cross-functional setting. The company is made up of consultants and implementers working on sustainable, innovative and cost-effective solutions for real estate, industry, energy and infrastructure, with more than 6,500 employees at over 80 locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Own international digital and IT projects from initiation through delivery to closure
• Lead and coordinate estimation and planning
• Define and manage scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables
• Lead cross-functional, international teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level, including senior management, across cultures and business functions
• Set up project governance and report transparently on progress, finances, risks and decisions
• Anticipate risks, issues, dependencies and changes, and drive them to resolution
• Manage project finances and resourcing, including forecasting and capacity limits
• Manage external vendors and implementation partners and keep them aligned on deliverables, timelines and responsibilities
• Coordinate go-live, handover to operations and project closure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT or a comparable field
• At least 5 years of project management experience, ideally on international digital or IT projects
• Proven track record running complex, cross-functional projects with international stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of project governance and of scope, financial, risk, change and resource management
• Experience working with external vendors and implementation partners
• Ability to structure and drive complex projects independently with little supervision
• English at C1 level or higher is required; Spanish and/or German is an advantage
• PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA or a comparable project management certification is an advantage
