Identity and Access Management (IAM) – IT System Engineer

You would join a growing, diverse IT team in Málaga, where the company is expanding, and help deliver cloud-based solutions on international, high-profile projects. Colleagues are based around the world, and you gain exposure to several technologies and products in a fast-growing, people-focused setting.

You will be part of the System Administration team, helping run server and cloud systems and keeping data and digital identities intact, available and secure. Your focus is Identity Management, where you help standardise, automate and improve IT services with stakeholders across the company.

The company acts as consultant, implementer or both for sustainable, innovative and economical solutions in real estate, industry, energy and infrastructure. It has over 6,500 employees at more than 80 locations worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Help run and improve server and cloud systems as an active member of the System Administration team.
• Support Identity and Access Management work, including compliance demands such as ISO 27001.
• Help install, configure and manage server, storage and backup systems.
• Monitor the uptime, performance and security of IT services and infrastructure.
• Work with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange.
• Write and maintain scripts that automate tasks and make operations more efficient.
• Take part in infrastructure projects such as migrations, expansions and optimisation work.
• Produce technical documentation and guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, completed IT training, or an equivalent qualification.
• Career changers with a strong affinity for IT are also considered, provided they have at least 3 years of professional experience and a sound grasp of Identity Management processes and application security.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Solid understanding of Identity Management processes and access governance principles.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux server environments.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-based identity solutions.
• Ability to work well in project teams and explain things clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
• A service-minded approach and a proactive drive to keep improving things.
• English at C1 level is required.
