Board Developer – Finance & Controlling Solutions

Description

The company is forming a new team in Málaga to build its finance and controlling solution, which runs on Board (Board International), a corporate performance management, planning and reporting platform.

You will develop, test and improve Board applications. A dedicated Product Owner sets the requirements and priorities, so you can focus on building.

The company consults on and implements sustainable, innovative and economical solutions for real estate, industry, energy and infrastructure. It has more than 6,500 employees at over 80 locations worldwide, working in interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Board-based finance and controlling applications, including data models, cubes, procedures and screens.
• Write, tune and maintain SQL queries, views and stored procedures.
• Set up and monitor data integrations from source systems into Board.
• Test your own work thoroughly, checking data quality and performance.
• Document your solutions and work with the Product Owner on technical feasibility and estimates.
• Suggest ideas for improving existing applications on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

• Hands-on Board International development experience: 2 years preferred, or 1 year with solid project experience.
• Strong SQL skills in MS SQL Server or a similar database.
• Understanding of multidimensional data models.
• Experience in testing, with a careful, quality-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently from clearly defined requirements.
• High level of English, written and spoken, as the team's working language.
• Optional: Board certification.
• Optional: experience with Power BI, Azure or Python.
• Optional: experience working in agile teams using Scrum, backlogs and sprints.

Conditions
