Project Engineer

Description

The company's Grid Automation business is hiring a Project Engineer in Vaasa, Finland.

You join a project team where open minds, a customer focus and new ideas matter. You work across levels of the organization in an international setting.

Interviews run as applications come in, and the role will be filled once a suitable candidate is found.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engineering work, including purchasing specifications, system configuration, building process databases and creating HMIs in SCADA and DMS systems.
• Take part in commissioning and in customer training on site.
• Deliver engineering and expert knowledge for MicroSCADA X control systems and related equipment to customers.
• Join domestic and export projects of varying size as a technical engineer.
• Give technical support to the sales organization.
• Use your technical expertise to help end customers, improving project execution, customer satisfaction and long-term collaboration.

Requirements

• Hold a BSc or MSc in information technology or electrical engineering.
• Have experience delivering projects.
• Solve complex problems, learn quickly and come up with new ideas.
• Have experienced-level knowledge of MicroSCADA Pro, SDM600, IET600 and RTU5xx.
• Communicate and present well in Finnish and English. Swedish is seen as an advantage.
• Build good working relationships with customers.
• Work independently as well as in a team.
• Be willing to travel.
• Ideally, you already know MicroSCADA X products.
• Ideally, you have experience with critical communication networks.
• Ideally, you understand why cyber security matters for control systems.

Conditions

Location: Vaasa, Ostrobothnia, Finland. Not remote.
