Program Manager Principal

Description

The company helps businesses, banks and communities move, manage and grow money. This strategic leadership role covers large, enterprise-wide programs that support key business goals within the company Capital Markets.

The role is highly visible. It calls for a strong executive presence, skill in managing many stakeholders, and the ability to shape decisions at senior leadership level.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise program strategy that matches business priorities, including governance, objectives, resource plans and measurable outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams spread across locations to deliver complex initiatives on scope, budget, quality and timeline.
• Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders by giving strategic guidance, clear communication and useful program reporting.
• Spot risks, dependencies and constraints, then reduce them. Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across several workstreams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in securities, capital markets, investment services, brokerage, clearing, custody or closely related financial services.
• A record of leading large enterprise programs and strategic initiatives in complex, heavily regulated environments.
• Executive presence and the ability to influence senior leaders, clients and key stakeholders through communication and leadership.
• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with real skill in program governance, risk management, budgeting and resource planning.
• A bachelor's degree or an equivalent mix of education and professional experience.
• Preferred: an advanced degree in business, finance, technology or a related field.
• Preferred: experience leading transformation, modernization or strategic change in capital markets organizations.
• Preferred: PgMP, PMP or another relevant program management certification.
