Description

The role sits in Central Product Management, on the Strategic Partnerships team. The team works with leading technology and AI-native companies to set up a product-led partnership approach, covering joint solutions and the go-to-market plan, so customers adopt AI and see its value sooner.

The team finds high-value opportunities, speeds up business results, and builds reusable AI-native solutions for the Now AI Platform. Its focus is activating partnerships and driving uptake of joint solutions.

Enterprise buyers now expect AI to produce results, and partners increasingly compete and cooperate at once. The team works at that junction and helps decide where working together makes sense.

You will support cross-functional Strategic Partnership teams on organizational direction and structure, help build partnerships, clear delivery blockers, and make the work scalable. You will also shape internal tooling, build internal relationships, manage the customer portfolio, and help build a culture of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Own the portfolio of partner build engagements, tracking phases, timelines, scope, and outcomes for each.
  • Keep one authoritative record of engagement progress, risks, and results.
  • Work with Strategic Partnership leaders to weigh priorities across accounts so resources go where they are needed.
  • Pull learnings from engagements together to shape and scale future ones.
  • Break complex, unclear problems into ranked milestones, deliverables, and success criteria, turning business goals into tactical and strategic plans.
  • Manage risks and dependencies, escalate blockers, and handle releases, including AI release requirements.
  • Act as the central link between Strategic Partnerships, Applied AI FDE, Product, Engineering, Experience (UI/UX), and supporting groups.
  • Define and run a structured way for the Strategic Partnership team and the wider APEX org to engage.
  • Turn engagement patterns into product feedback, and track how engagements feed platform innovation.
  • Create standard intake templates, RACI charts, and collaboration playbooks.
  • Capture lessons from early engagements, from Phase 0 setup through rollout, and turn them into best practices.
  • Build tools, dashboards, and automation that speed delivery and increase engagement impact.
  • Improve processes, write documentation, and automate repetitive operational work.
  • Centralize all Strategic Partnerships documentation, resources, and operating structure.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams so roles and deliverables stay clear.
  • Set a steady reporting rhythm for engagement status, metrics, and risks.
  • Produce executive-ready dashboards and summaries.
  • Share internal stories on product adoption, innovation speed, and customer value.
  • Promote transparency, learning, and disciplined scaling across the program.
  • Ask for and act on feedback, give feedback to colleagues, and help keep the culture open and collaborative.

Requirements

  • You solve problems creatively and do well in complex, fast-moving settings, reasoning analytically without losing the big picture.
  • You have managed SDLC processes and a portfolio of projects with a customer-first approach.
  • You care about AI and about scaling new ideas.
  • You know the platform ecosystem well and can turn vague problems into clear ones.
  • You have hands-on experience running projects and programs from start to finish.
  • Preferred: 10+ years of portfolio or program management in mid-size or large software companies.
  • Preferred: a solid grasp of SDLC and release management in cloud-based SaaS organizations.
  • Preferred: experience delivering AI or intelligent workflow solutions at scale, with AI deployments that produced clear customer impact.
  • Preferred: familiarity with AI governance, compliance, and enterprise security practices.
  • Preferred: proven program management of AI/ML software work, covering planning, scheduling, risk and dependency management, change management, and predictive metrics.
  • Preferred: strong communication, conveying changes, requests, deadlines, risks, status, and decisions clearly to every audience, including executives.
  • Preferred: enjoy working with people in technical, innovative settings, and handle many personality types across functions.
  • Preferred: leadership and relationship skills to influence and motivate without formal authority, bringing people together.
  • Preferred: facilitation skills for leading varied build events, with high quality standards, a drive for continuous improvement, and a big-picture view.
  • Preferred: experience deploying AI to production and spotting waste and delays in AI development, deployment, and release. This is a plus.
  • Preferred: team building and management skills, including interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiation.
  • Preferred: experience integrating AI into work processes, decisions, or problem-solving, or thinking critically about how to do so.
