  • Track schedules, spot risks and opportunities, and put mitigation in place to hit key milestones.
  • Handle change requests, RFIs, field instructions, and scope changes with minimal impact on schedule and budget.
  • Monitor site activity for compliance with project requirements, quality standards, safety programs, and environmental rules.
  • Lead client communication, progress reporting, stakeholder meetings, and project records through the full project lifecycle.
  • Oversee commissioning, turnover, and closeout so that systems and deliverables meet contract terms.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of civil construction experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager for a General Contractor.
  • Post-secondary education in civil engineering or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP construction and how they coordinate.
  • Experience working in active rail corridors, with solid knowledge of corridor requirements, permits, and work planning.
  • Track record of leading multidisciplinary teams, consultants, subcontractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Record of delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Solid command of contract administration, change management, scheduling, quantity tracking, and project controls.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and other construction management software, with strong communication, leadership, and organization skills.
  • A valid provincial driver's license.
  • Professional Engineer license in Ontario: an asset.
  • Previous delivery of station, transit facility, or passenger transportation projects: strongly preferred.
