Description

This role is based in Sunnyvale or San Francisco

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.

LinkedIn was built to help professionals achieve more in their careers, and every day millions of people use our products to make connections, discover opportunities, and gain insights. Our global reach means we get to make a direct impact on the world’s workforce in ways no other company can. We’re much more than a digital resume – we transform lives through innovative products and technology. At LinkedIn, we strive to help our employees find passion and purpose. Join us in changing the way the world works.

In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution for LinkedIn’s Ads Quality systems and user experiences. You will define how we deliver ads that are relevant and valuable to members while driving strong outcomes for advertisers and the business. Working across the ads stack, you will own the trade-offs between advertiser ROI, member experience, and revenue, and advance the systems and experiences that improve relevance, safety, and performance at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ads Quality spanning relevance, delivery, safety, and UX.
  • Set clear success metrics (member impact, advertiser ROI, quality scores, revenue lift) and drive measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with Data Science, Applied AI/ML, and Engineering to improve ranking models, bidding algorithms, auction signals, and creative quality at scale.
  • Establish rigorous experimentation frameworks (A/Bs, holdouts, offline evals) to validate causal impact.
  • Design end-to-end product experiences that raise perceived quality: better ad formats, controls, feedback loops, and transparency.
  • Influence company-level decision-making with crisp narratives, tradeoff analyses, and executive communication.
  • Mentor PMs; elevate product standards and operational excellence across Ads.

Requirements

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • BS degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in a product management or equivalent role
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in product management with deep experience in trust/safety, policy, and privacy for ads.
  • Track record improving advertiser ROI while maintaining member-first experiences.
  • Proven leadership owning business-critical roadmaps and shipping large-scale systems with measurable impact.
  • Strong analytical chops: metrics design, causal inference basics, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience building b2b products with a demonstrated ability to drive product planning, development and launch
  • Familiar with ads buying technology from LinkedIn and others (e.g. Meta, Google).
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Suggested Skills:
  • Advertising Product
  • Advertising Technology Integrations
  • Analytical skillset/Data Science
  • Optimization
  • ABM
  • Data Analysis
  • LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
  • The pay range for this role is $187,000 to $305,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
